Major Taiwanese long steel product manufacturer-Feng Hsin Iron and Steel Co. has decided to hike its rebar prices for the week commencing March 23rd, 2015. Also, the prices of section steel will remain flat during the week. The company has announced that the scrap purchasing prices too will remain unchanged.

According to company press release by Feng Hsin, the list prices for rebar will be increased by NT$ 200 per ton from the previous week. Further to hike, the rebar prices will now be at NT$ 14,700 per ton The price for section steel during the week will be in the range of NT$ 18,000 per ton, holding steady when compared with the previous week prices.

The scrap purchasing prices will remain unchanged from the previous week. The scrap buy prices for the week will be NT$ 7,000 per ton, Feng Hsin press release stated.
