And the steel grades to be used depends on the requirements for strength and durability.

One common steel for piling pipes is ASTM A252, which comes into 3 types.

Other steel like GR.B, X42, X56, S355, S235,S275, K55, N80 also preferred.

In some cases, the piling pipes can be given extra processing such as galvanizing, hole-drilling, anticorrosion paint etc.
